Accountant – Belmo Group

Belmo Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support the financial operations of our hospitality portfolio. This role will manage core accounting functions across our hotel businesses, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and trust accounting compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with hospitality, property, or trust accounting experience to work within a growing group.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
n
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
n
Manage accounts payable and receivable
n
Maintain and reconcile trust accounts related to hotel operations
n
Assist with BAS, GST, and statutory reporting
n
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
n




Work closely with hotel management to ensure accurate financial reporting
n
n
About You
n
n
3+ years accounting experience
n
Experience with trust accounting (hospitality, property, or accommodation preferred)
n
Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
n
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Xero, MYOB or similar)
n
Accounting or Finance degree (CPA/CA desirable)
n
