This is a current opportunity with a leading business in south west Sydney on-site 5 days per week.
This role is NOT hybrid.
The location is in the Campbeltown / Camden / Liverpool / Narellan / Macarthur area.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll and workforce specialist to support the implementation of Dayforce across a major Australian organisation.
This role owns the
Human Resources processes (including organisation model, job / position management, training qualifications, and employee data)
to support the design, configuration, testing and go live readiness, partnering closely with Payroll, IT, Finance, Operations and the implementation partner to ensure a compliance and accurate solution across human resources processes.
The role requires subject matter expertise to support the business to bridge the gap between technical system and operational process needs, and strong stakeholder management capabilities to enable managers and staff with training and support to ensure a smooth transition to our new Human Capital Management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the
Human Resources
(HR) workstream within the HCM Program Team
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for
organisation model, job / position management, training qualifications, and employee data
processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
Translate business payroll requirements into system configuration specifications within the HCM platform, with the implementation partner




Partner with other HCM program work stream and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration in processes and systems
Design, test and delivery of key processes and reports.
Collect, cleanse and fill gaps in key data with relevant business stakeholders.
Support stakeholder management, training materials and change impacts
Ensure compliance with government regulations, EBA / Award and other reporting requirements
Validate employee data, qualifications, organisation hierarchies, workflows and approval routing for accuracy.
Mentor and support HR team members in the business
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of human resource management experience
Strong knowledge of core HR processes, employee lifecycle management and employee compliance requirements
Hands-on experience in HIRS / HCM packages required (using Dayforce is preferred although Workday, SuccessFactors and other also considered).
2+ years in an HCM implementation or system project lead capacity (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Collaborative approach with ability to build relationships across diverse teams
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Diplomatic conflict resolution skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong attention to detail and working with data accuracy
