Offering $*****/hr on day shift and $*****/hr on night shift, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Underground TA looking to join a busy maintenance team on an 8:6 / 7:7 roster.

We're looking for someone who understands the demands of working underground, has a solid safety mindset and is ready to hit the ground running.

The Role
n
As an Underground Trade Assistant, you'll work closely with the maintenance team, providing hands-on assistance to tradespeople and supporting day-to-day underground maintenance activities.
n
Your duties may include:
n
n
Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance activities
n
Preparing tools, equipment and components for maintenance works
n
Using hand and power tools
n




Assisting with the removal and installation of components
n
Moving equipment, parts and materials
n
General manual handling and trade support
n
Maintaining clean and organised work areas
n
Supporting planned and breakdown maintenance activities
n
Following underground site procedures and instructions
n
Working safely around mobile equipment, tradespeople and other personnel
n
Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be considered, you will need:
n
n
Previous experience as an Underground Trade Assistant
n
Working at Heights – completed within the last 2 years
n
Confined Space – completed within the last 2 years
n
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work effectively within an underground maintenance team
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Reliable and proactive attitude
n
Ability to undertake physically demanding work
n
Availability to work the 8:6 / 7:7 roster
n
Ability to work both day and night shifts
n
Availability to commence immediately
n
n
About You
n
You're an experienced Trade Assistant who is comfortable working underground and understands the importance of following site procedures and maintaining high safety standards.
n
You're hands-on, reliable and willing to support the maintenance team wherever required to help keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
