About This Opportunity

As a teacher, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a vibrant and engaging curriculum. You will demonstrate strong content knowledge and pedagogical expertise, using evidence-informed teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. You will differentiate learning to support, challenge and extend students, enabling every learner to achieve their personal best.

As the classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a holistic education, including:

Creating a nurturing learning workplace that is learner-centred, safe, supportive, cooperative and aligned with the School's curriculum, policies and practices.

Planning, implementing and reviewing high-quality learning programs.
n
Maintaining professional standards as defined by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Effectively managing students in the classroom and across the wider School community.

Upholding the values and Christian ethos of the School.

Above all, you will be committed to engaging with, connecting with and caring for our students.

Skills and Experiences
n
About You
n
You will have qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:
n
n
Qualified Teacher, registered with, or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
n
Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
n
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
n
Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for students.
n
Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican ethos of the School.
n
