Job Description
TheSenior Pricing Analystwill support the end-to-end pricing of our insurance products through best-in-class data analytics, modelling and implementation. The Senior Pricing Analyst is a highly technical role and ensures our insurance pricing decisions are based on robust data driven analysis and a deep understanding of risk-based pricing.

Understand sources of data, its limitations, and uses within the team
n
Analyse, interpret, and extrapolate data from a number of sources to resolve complex issues
n
Efficiently manage and manipulate very large data sets
n
Implement complex rating changes and quantify the expected impact on the portfolio
n
Draw insights and provide recommendations on next steps
n




Explain technical work and communicate findings to senior management
n
Evaluate alternative data sources for risk rating
n
Identify opportunities for improvements to risk rating data and automate analytical processes
n
Assist with the development and maintenance of data assets for the wider team
n

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
n
n
3+ years general insurance industry experience
n
Proven analytical and problem-solving capability
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Programming knowledge (e.g. BigQuery, SAS, SQL, R)
n
Degree qualified in mathematics, actuarial studies or similar
