Job Description
Term Contract 6 years (up to 35 hours per week)

Join Wentworth Shire Council as a Cadet Planner and gain valuable qualified experience while completing your studies. Working within Council's Health & Planning team, you will learn alongside experienced planning professionals and contribute to projects that helps shape Wentworth Shire's future. From supporting strategic planning initiatives, researching planning activities and contributing to development assessment activities, this cadetship offers a unique opportunity to build practical skills in a professional environment whilst earning an income.

Throughout the six year term contract, you will gain exposure to a range of planning disciplines, developing the knowledge and experience required to launch a rewarding career in planning.

The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three month probation period and has a commencement hourly salary of $***** + 12% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
