About the Role
n
Journe Brands is seeking an experienced Senior Demand & Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team full time, based out of our Port Melbourne office. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you'll own end-to-end demand and supply planning - playing a key seat at the table in our monthly IBP cycle and acting as the bridge between commercial activity and operational execution.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain demand forecasts across products, channels and customers incorporating baseline demand, seasonality, trend and promotions
n
Translate the approved demand plan into a monthly supply plan - projected stock-on-hand, weeks of cover and purchase order recommendations
n
Lead key stakeholder input into the monthly IBP cycle, presenting demand insights, assumptions and supply exceptions
n
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to validate assumptions and align the plan
n
Drive inventory optimisation - identifying slow-moving, excess or at-risk inventory
n




Produce regular reporting on forecast accuracy, bias, demand trends and exceptions
n
Identify root causes of forecast variance and drive continuous improvement
n
Contribute to ongoing process and planning tool improvements
n

Qualifications
n
n
5+ years in demand or supply planning
n
Strong forecasting capability - comfortable operating at a detailed, data level
n
Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools an advantage
n
Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Finance and Operations
n
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or related field; APICS/IBF qualifications an advantage
n
Background in wholesale, retail, FMCG or consumer brands preferred
n
Based in Melbourne
