genU is looking for a knowledgeable and supportive Assistant Payroll Team Leader to help deliver a seamless payroll experience for our people. You'll combine hands-on payroll expertise with team leadership and practical process and system updates and integrations.

What you'll do
n
As Assistant Payroll Team Leader, you'll:
n
n
Support accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing
n
Provide expert advice on complex payroll matters and entitlements
n
Mentor team members and assist with day-to-day workflow coordination
n
Drive payroll compliance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Experience working in payroll within a large or complex organisation
n
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, awards and legislation
n
Great relationship-building and customer service skills
n
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to confidently support and mentor others
n
High attention to detail and commitment to accurac
n




A proactive approach to process improvement
n

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)

Experience with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors or WorkForce Software
n
