Following NRW Civil & Mining's recent $960 million contract extension through to February ****, we are seeking a Mining Engineer to join our established team at the Karara Iron Ore Mine.
n
Karara is a major open-pit magnetite operation in Western Australia's Mid West. With an approximately 45-minute flight from Perth, a family-friendly 8/6 roster and an established NRW project workforce of approximately 250 people, Karara offers the scale, stability and opportunity to take your career further.

WHERE YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
n
n
Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules
n
Partner with operational teams to achieve production targets
n
Support drill and blast and load and haul activities
n
Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
n
Assist with forecasting, budgeting and cost control
n
Provide practical technical support across the operation
n
n
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
n
We are looking for a practical, production-focused Mining Engineer who enjoys working closely with operational teams.
n
n
Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
n




Minimum two years' operational mining experience
n
Experience in mine planning, scheduling and production support
n
Exposure to drill and blast and load and haul operations
n
Experience across hard-rock, coal or underground operations
n
Robust communication and problem-solving skills
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Experience with Surpac or Deswik highly regarded
n
n
This position is FIFO from Perth. Applicants must currently reside in Perth or be prepared to relocate to Perth independently before commencing.
