About the Role
n
The Fundraising & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the Foundation's fundraising, partnership development and communications activities.
n
You will develop and deliver initiatives that increase fundraising revenue, grow supporter engagement, strengthen donor and sponsor relationships, and expand awareness of MND and the Foundation's impact.
n
This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning with operational delivery and is suited to a proactive skilled who enjoys building relationships and driving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Foundation's fundraising strategy.
n
Grow and diversify income streams across community fundraising, events, grants, corporate partnerships and philanthropy.
n
Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, supporters and community stakeholders.
n
Identify and pursue new corporate partnership opportunities.
n
Support donor stewardship and retention activities to maximise long-term engagement.
n

Events
n

Oversee the planning, delivery and evaluation of all Foundation fundraising events.
n
Provide leadership and support to the Event and Administration Coordinator.
n
Monitor event performance against revenue, participation and engagement targets.
n
Oversee third-party fundraising events and community fundraising initiatives.
n
Manage event budgets and financial reporting.
n

Communications & Marketing
n
n
Develop and implement a communications and content strategy.
n
Oversee the Foundation's website, social media channels, newsletters and digital communications.
n
Create compelling stories and campaigns that increase awareness, engagement and fundraising outcomes.
n
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
n
Coordinate public relations and media opportunities.
n

Systems & Administration
n
n
Maintain accurate supporter,



donor and event information within Salesforce.
n
Use data and insights to improve fundraising performance and supporter engagement.
n
Prepare reports and analysis for the CEO and Board as required.
n
Recruit, develop and support volunteers involved in fundraising and events.
n
Foster positive volunteer experiences and recognition initiatives.
n

About You
n
You are a motivated fundraising professional who combines strong relationship-building skills with strategic thinking and excellent communication abilities.
n
You thrive in a small team environment and are passionate about making a difference.
n
n
Degree qualification in fundraising, marketing, communications, events or a related field.
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in fundraising, communications, partnerships or event management.
n
Demonstrated success delivering fundraising growth and stakeholder engagement outcomes.
n
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
n
Strong project management and organisational skills.
n
Experience managing multiple priorities and working autonomously.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
n
Experience working in the not-for-profit sector.
n
Salesforce or CRM experience.
n
Grant writing and philanthropic fundraising experience.
