We're expanding our team and looking for Assembly Operators for our Day and Afternoon Shift to join our industry‐leading transformer manufacturing facility. Whether you're someone with already strong technical skills and aptitude or someone who wants to learn a unique trade, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a stable and rewarding role.

About the Role
n
As an Assembly Operator, you'll play a key role in assembling transformer components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions. Your craftsmanship directly impacts product quality, reliability and performance.
n
Day shift position - 6:00am to 2:30pm
n
Afternoon shift positions - 2.40pm to *****pm
n
What you'll be doing:
n
n
Fitting and installing transformer cores, windings, insulation components, steel structures and associated hardware.
n
Using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment to complete assembly work accurately.
n
Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings, schematics and work instructions.
n
Interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
n
Maintaining high levels of accuracy, consistency and quality
n
Working closely with production,



test and engineering teams
n
Ensuring a safe, clean and organised work environment
n

Who We're Looking For

No transformer experience? No problem – we'll train you!
n
We're seeking candidates who are:
n
Mechanically minded or have hands‐on trade experience
n
Detail-focused with robust pride in their work
n
Comfortable in a workshop or manufacturing environment
n
Reliable, proactive and eager to learn
n
Manufacturing experience would be highly regarded but not essential!
