The Role
As a School Officer, you will ideally be a collaborative team player and provide high-quality customer service and administrative support to the school, working closely with the administration team, teaching staff, students, parents and the broader school community.
You should be proactive, adaptable and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
As the first point of contact for the school, the School Officer would play a vital role in creating a welcoming and skilled environment for students, families and visitors.
Under the guidance of the Manager Corporate Services the school officer role may include, but is not limited to, a broad range of administrative responsibilities such as reception duties, enrolment procedures, processing student attendance, maintaining school databases accurately and management information systems, providing first aid,
coordinating and tracking maintenance and repair requests, and supporting the publication of school communications.
Experience with Compass, Student Information System (SIS), RM Billing and RM Finance is highly desirable, along with a willingness to support and learn further phases of Compass implementation.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
