About the role
Our OSHC will be located on the beautiful grounds of St Agatha's Catholic Primary School in
Pennant Hills
and is open from 7:00am to 9:00am in the mornings and from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday.
During the school holidays the OSHC is open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
The Assistant Coordinator will be able to work closely with the Coordinator to provide programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in Before School Care & After School Care at our Pennant Hills OSHC.

Availability needed:
3 mornings per week Before School Care 7:00am-9:00am (6 hours)
Every day After School Care - 2:30pm-6:00pm (17.5 hours)
Admin hours - 3.5 hours per week
Duties
Working in support of the coordinator with the efficient day to day operation of the service.
Regularly evaluate the program to ensure it caters for the interests, needs of school age children.
Ensure Compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required.
Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service.
Willingness to engage in career development.
Requirements
Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain.
Working With Children Check.
Highly Desirable
Knowledge of regulation relevant to Outside School Hours Care under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law.
Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
Experience in working in Out of School Hours Care or studying towards your Bachelor of Education Primary Teaching.
Skills and experience in team leadership.
