About the Role
CPBS is seeking a
full-time or part-time Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner
to join our established
Hobart
team based in
New Town
.
Working alongside a highly experienced clinical team, you'll deliver high-quality behaviour support services, mentor practitioners, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for children, adults and their support networks across Tasmania.
What you'll do
Complete introductory and intermediate training in Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS)
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
Provide behaviour support services to individuals and care teams in a variety of settings
Provide clinical support and training to practitioners, support workers and caregivers
Collaborate with NDIS participants, families, allied health professionals and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and complete report writing in line with legislative requirements

What We're Looking For
A bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
An NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
Demonstrated experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist
Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
A passion for improving outcomes for the people and families we support
