About the Role:

As a Senior Lawyer, your role will include:
n
n
Leading and managing complex domestic and cross-border M&A; transactions.
n
Advising clients on deal structures, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and risk mitigation.
n
Negotiating and drafting transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements.
n
Providing strategic advice to clients on corporate governance and restructuring matters.
n
Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, contributing to their development and the team's success.
n
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support business development efforts.
n

About You:
n
n
Extensive Experience: Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience in M&A; or corporate law, ideally from a leading firm or in-house legal team.
n
Technical Expertise: Proven ability to handle complex transactions from inception to completion.
n
Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of market trends and the ability to deliver commercially sound advice.
n
Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring teams and managing client relationships effectively.
n
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for clear, concise, and persuasive advice.
n
Qualification: Admission as a lawyer in Australia or Current Zealand
