Earn $130 per hour Various shifts available Travel and accommodation provided The Chance Grafton Base Hospital is a rural community hospital providing acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic, paediatric, anaesthetic, geriatric, obstetric and maternity, intensive and critical care, renal, oncology, palliative care, emergency, some specialist outpatient services and day surgery facilities to the people of the Clarence Valley.
This busy ED is staffed by a highly qualified medical team of Career Medical Officers, Emergency Specialists, and Nursing staff providing care to patients of all ages with critical and acute illness.
* Bed Numbers: 10 beds * Resus: 2 beds • Shift times: o In-charge shifts: ****hrs to ****hrs, ****hrs to ****hrs, ****hrs to ****hrs o JMO shifts: ****hrs to ****hrs, ****hrs to ****hrs, ****hrs to ****hrs (shared with Gen Med) o Fast Track shifts: ****hrs to ****hrs; ****hrs to ****hrs o Swing shift: ****hrs to ****hrs • Staffing levels for each shift time: 4 staff minimum with cross over in afternoon and evening shift.
1 FACEM, 1 GP and 2 JMOs on day shift and evening shift, 1 CMO on evening shift, 1 Night JMO (shared with Gen Med) • Support provided: Senior staff on each shift.
