About the company/role: Our client is a well-known dairy manufacturer based in Southwest Sydney.
They are seeking a current Food Science student to join their laboratory team.
This role will work 2 days per week on Mondays and Fridays.
Due to the location of the site, a car is required for this role.
Duties: Microbial analysis of dairy samples (TPC, coliforms, microbial plating) Operate laboratory equipment (Milkoscan, Delvo, Microfoss, pH meter) Conduct packaging analysis (torque meter, diameter, weight) Record all results and escalate any issues Reporting and analysis of results Maintenance of the laboratory environment Skills/experience: Current Food Science OR Microbiology student Availability to work Mondays and Fridays Access to car and license Ability to work as part of a team Proficient in using Excel, Word and Outlook Solid attention to detail and communication skills Responsible for following food safety rules and guidelines Culture Benefits: Excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on industry experience while completing their studies Apply!
