Location: Cairns QLD Duration: Permanent Australian Citizen Salary: $62,000 - $72,000K Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Administration Operations Support Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating logistics, and takes pride in providing high-quality administrative support.
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience coordinating travel, procurement processes, and stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.
A current driver's licence is preferred, with flexibility for candidates who meet all other requirements.
Essential Requirements Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification Demonstrated proficiency in MYOB Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook Previous experience in procurement, administration, and coordinating meetings and travel arrangements Current C Class Driver's Licence Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Provide general administrative support across the organisation and assist with reception and front-of-house duties as required.
Respond to and direct incoming telephone enquiries in a professional manner.
Maintain electronic records and filing systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Assist with document management, correspondence distribution, and office administration tasks.
Manage office resources and supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Support various teams with administrative tasks, reporting, and project-related activities.
Contribute to the preparation and distribution of meeting documents, newsletters, and organisational communications.
Undertake additional administrative duties as required to support business operations.
Procurement, Travel Logistics Coordinate procurement activities, including obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, tracking approvals, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Arrange travel and accommodation bookings, prepare associated documentation, and coordinate travel logistics for staff.
Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintain accurate records relating to procurement, travel, and operational expenditure.
Assist with the coordination of meetings, workshops, and other organisational events.
