We're looking for an experienced People Relations Partner to join our team.
As a People Relations Partner, you provide trusted employee relations and people advisory support across your partnering states, helping leaders create engaged teams, manage workplace issues effectively, and build great places to work.
You'll combine hands-on people advisory, while helping to navigate workplace relations matters, legislative change, Enterprise Agreements, policies and employment frameworks across Australia and New Zealand.
You'll use your expertise to help leaders navigate complexity, manage risk and make confident, informed decisions.
What you'll be doing As one of three People Relations Partners, reporting to the GM People Culture, each role partners with their allocated states across Australia and New Zealand, and takes ownership for key aspects of the broader people relations function.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Providing people advisory support to leaders across Victoria and Western Australia, supporting other states across Australia, and New Zealand as required Advising and coaching leaders on performance, conduct, grievances and other people matters Conducting workplace investigations and supporting grievance resolution Providing advice on employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements Management of the Enterprise Agreement, including payroll and recruitment team queries.
Monitoring legislative changes and translating these into practical policies, processes and programs Ownership of employment contracts and people policy reviews and updates Owning and progressing our Respect@Work plan and actions Contribute to broader People Cultural projects and initiatives What we're looking for You'll bring excellent coaching skills to support the capability of leaders in the timely resolution of issues on the ground.
To do this you will have strong employment relations experience, with the ability to balance technical knowledge with practical advice that is aligned with Kennards Hire values and policies.
You'll bring: The ability and confidence to coach and influence leaders at all levels across a dispersed operational business Strong employment relations experience, with the ability to manage complex people matters, including performance, grievances and investigations Strong knowledge of employment legislation and practices across Australia and New Zealand, with experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements Excellent written, consultation and negotiation skills HR or related tertiary qualifications are preferred Why Kennards Hire?
