Job details 5x2 Roster | Adelaide based with occasional travel to Carrapateena Immediate start preferred Lead operational readiness planning for a major workforce and village uplift About the Client: Our client is a leading resources organisation with significant operations across Australia.
As part of the planned expansion of the Carrapateena Village, the organisation is preparing for a significant increase in workforce numbers and associated demand across accommodation, dining, transport, and central facilities.
About the Position: To support this transition, they are seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Specialist to lead a structured readiness program, identify capacity constraints, and develop practical solutions to ensure the operation is prepared for the anticipated workforce uplift.
Reporting to the relevant operational leadership team, the Operational Readiness Specialist will lead the assessment and planning activities required to support the Carrapateena Village uplift.
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end operational readiness for the Carrapateena Village uplift Assess future capacity across accommodation, dining, kitchen, transport, and central facilities Develop demand models aligned with forecast workforce growth Identify constraints, bottlenecks, risks, and required interventions Assess flight, bus, and ground transport requirements with People Logistics Coordinate across operations, infrastructure, logistics, and service providers Develop and implement prioritised readiness plans and practical solutions Monitor key actions, milestones, and readiness activities through to delivery Proactively manage risks impacting workforce mobilisation and operational continuity Drive stakeholder alignment across multiple operational functions Provide clear reporting, recommendations,
and progress updates Support the transition from current-state operations to the future-state operating model Skills and Experience: Previous experience in Operational Readiness, Operations Planning, Workforce Logistics, Project Delivery, or a similar role Experience supporting workforce mobilisation, operational expansions, infrastructure uplifts, or large-scale change initiatives Strong understanding of workforce logistics, accommodation, transport, facilities, or remote-site operations Ability to translate forecast demand into practical operational requirements and identify capacity constraints Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and coordination capabilities Proven ability to develop and deliver structured readiness and implementation plans Solid stakeholder management skills across operations, logistics, infrastructure, and service providers Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and drive initiatives through to completion Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills Resources, mining, FIFO, or remote operational experience highly regarded Apply Now: Click on the Apply button to submit your application or for more information please contact: WorkPac Principal Consultant: Lukas Radich on ************ or ****** quoting job reference number ****J*********.
