Job description Electrical Package Manager | Major Mining Project | Owner's Team An excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join the owner's team on a major mining project valued in excess of $350 million.
This role will take ownership of a critical electrical package valued between $***** million, supporting the delivery of key infrastructure required for a large-scale processing operation.
Working within a high-performing project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the electrical package throughout the full project lifecycle, from design reviews and contractor management through to construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true owner's representative role where you'll influence project outcomes, engage directly with major contractors and OEMs, and oversee the successful delivery of significant electrical infrastructure on a large mining development.
Role Opportunity We are seeking a proven Electrical Package Manager with experience delivering major mining, resources, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Reporting into the Project Delivery team, you will act as the accountable owner for a substantial electrical works package comprising HV infrastructure, power distribution, plant tie-ins, and associated control systems interfaces.
The role offers exposure to all stages of project execution, allowing you to drive safety, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and delivery outcomes while working alongside experienced project professionals, planners, cost engineers, and technical specialists.
This position is offered on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or Brisbane, providing an excellent balance between site presence and time at home.

Planisware or Power BI • Gold or mineral processing project experience • Brownfields project delivery experience Duties Responsibilities • Act as the owner's representative for the electrical package • Manage package delivery from design through to handover • Participate in and challenge engineering design reviews • Ensure designs meet operational and maintainability requirements • Oversee contractor and OEM performance throughout execution • Manage interfaces across multiple project stakeholders • Monitor and manage project cost, schedule and quality outcomes • Identify and mitigate package-related project risks • Support construction activities and site execution planning • Coordinate commissioning and transition to operations • Ensure compliance with project standards and specifications • Provide package reporting and progress updates to leadership • Support cross-functional delivery activities where required • Champion safe project delivery and positive project culture Our Client Our client is a leading mining company with a strong portfolio of operations and a significant pipeline of capital projects across Australia.
