Drainers and Mechanical Engineering Technician Perth Metro and Regional WA, Full Time, Trades Services Vacancy Listing Dates 14/09/2026 to 12/10/2026 Please Quote Reference Number ***** Experienced Drainers and Mechanical Engineering Technician Remuneration of $80,000 - $120,000 Join the team at Eco Civils WA Eco Civils WA Pty Ltd are currently looking for an experienced Drainer to join our team working on projects across Metro Perth and Regional WA.
To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a relevant qualification in Drainage and have at least 3 years' experience working in a similar position.
It's key that you are able to demonstrate: Strong technical knowledge and understanding High level of communication skills Excellent standards of professionalism This role will involve installing, maintaining and designing below-ground drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems.
A remuneration of $90,000 - $120,000 will be offered to the successful candidates for this role.
Eco Civil is also seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to provide technical support in the design, development, installation, testing, maintenance and modification of mechanical equipment and systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project personnel to ensure mechanical systems and equipment are designed, operated and maintained safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards.
The Mechanical Engineering Technician shall be responsible for supporting the mechanical engineering team deliver to our clients tailored maintenance for plant and equipment.
The Technician shall assist in the maintenance of machines and equipment and the final mechanical installations and commission.

Key Responsibilities: Assist mechanical engineers with the design, development and modification of mechanical equipment and systems.
Prepare and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, plans, specifications and technical documentation.
Conduct inspections, measurements and technical assessments of mechanical equipment and systems.
Assist with the installation, commissioning, testing and adjustment of mechanical equipment.
Perform testing and monitor the performance of mechanical equipment and systems.
Identify mechanical faults, investigate equipment failures and assist in determining appropriate corrective actions.
Assist engineers with the development and implementation of mechanical modifications and improvements.
Prepare technical reports, equipment records, inspection reports and maintenance documentation.
Assist with the planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance activities.
Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical equipment and recommend maintenance or improvement requirements.
Liaise with engineers, contractors, suppliers and other technical personnel regarding mechanical equipment and systems.
Assist with procurement by reviewing equipment specifications and technical requirements.
Ensure mechanical work and equipment comply with relevant Australian Standards, specifications, safety requirements and project requirements.
Provide technical advice and practical support to engineering and project teams.
Maintain accurate technical records, drawings, reports and equipment documentation.
A salary of $80,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate for this role.
