This is an exciting full-time, Monday to Friday leadership opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Manager.
Working closely with senior clinical leadership, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of an inpatient ward while providing strong clinical leadership and developing a high-performing nursing team.
You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while driving continuous improvement, workforce capability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Provide visible clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the inpatient ward Lead, mentor and develop nursing staff, including performance management and professional development Support workforce planning, rostering and resource management to ensure effective service delivery Promote a strong culture of patient safety,
clinical excellence and continuous improvement Drive quality improvement initiatives and support accreditation and clinical governance requirements Work collaboratively with medical, allied health and broader multidisciplinary teams Monitor patient care outcomes and identify opportunities to improve the patient and staff experience Contribute to service planning, operational priorities and the ongoing development of the ward About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated nursing leadership or management experience within an acute hospital environment Solid understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing nursing teams Strong workforce planning and operational management capabilities Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills A proactive and collaborative leadership style, with a genuine commitment to quality patient care Why Consider This Opportunity?
