The Prospect Yurra is seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR and Mobilisation Team in our Stirling office, Perth.
This full-time role reports to the HR Manager and owns the end-to-end recruitment of Yurra's workforce – from an approved employment request through sourcing, screening, selection and offer, to an accepted candidate handed over to our Onboarding Coordinator.
About the Role Full-time position, Monday to Friday Own each approved vacancy from the moment it is released until an offer is accepted.
Direct-source and headhunt for hard-to-fill trade and operator roles, and build talent pools for the positions we recruit repeatedly.
Screen, shortlist and present quality candidates to hiring managers with a clear recommendation.
Manage offers through to acceptance,
and hand over a complete file to Onboarding.
Report weekly on every open vacancy – stage, candidate, progress and hold points.
What We're Looking For Proven end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally across trades, operators and staff roles in civil construction, mining or a similar industry.
Strong screening and verification skills — work rights, licences, tickets and qualifications Confidence managing hiring managers, agencies and labour hire suppliers to agreed timeframes and terms Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HRIS and digital sourcing tools Sound understanding of privacy obligations and fair, consistent and defensible selection practice Experience supporting Indigenous employment, traineeship or apprenticeship programs (desirable) What We Offer Meaningful employment with real community impact Opportunities for training and professional development Supportive, inclusive team environment Access to employee benefits and competitive rates All applicants must have the right to work in Australia and meet pre-employment checks for site access, including medical and national police clearance.
