As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of engineering consulting and capital projects, working alongside experienced project professionals to deliver outcomes safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
In this role, you'll contribute to project planning, coordination and delivery while building strong client relationships and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
You'll play an important role in helping projects achieve their objectives in relation to scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety.
Job Summary Responsibilities We are seeking a permanent full-time Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of engineering consulting and capital projects.
Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the management and delivery of small engineering consulting and capital projects.
Supporting Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on medium to large and complex projects.
Coordinating project activities including engineering, design, quality, safety, cost and schedule management.
Monitoring project performance against agreed objectives, budgets and timelines.
Participating in project and client meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Supporting project administration, reporting and commercial activities.
Contributing to a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Assisting with business development and opportunities to secure future work.
Supporting the development and implementation of project management processes and systems.
Here's what you'll need Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.




Relevant project management training or certifications will be highly regarded.
Skills Experience Experience supporting the delivery of engineering, infrastructure, construction or consulting projects.
Knowledge of project management principles including scope, schedule, cost and risk management.
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within project environments.
Ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
