Aged Care Traineeship | Build a Career That Matters Bring your experience.

Are you an experienced customer service professional looking for your next career move?
Perhaps you've built your skills in retail, hospitality, or another people-focused environment and you're ready to put those skills towards something that helps others.
ACA is looking for professional, reliable and compassionate people to join a paid Residential Aged Care Traineeships across Adelaide.
You don't need previous aged care experience, but you do need to bring the right attitude, work ethic and transferable skills.
You'll earn a wage while completing a fully funded CHC***** Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and gain practical, hands-on experience supporting older Australians in a residential aged care environment.

The skills you've developed in previous roles can provide a strong foundation for a career in residential aged care.
We're looking for people who are confident: Communicating with a wide range of people Building positive professional relationships Providing a high standard of customer service Working as part of a team Handling challenging situations calmly and respectfully Taking responsibility and following through on commitments Presenting themselves professionally Showing patience, empathy and genuine care for others If you've developed these skills in retail, hospitality, customer service, or another people-focused role, you may already have many of the qualities that make a great aged care worker.
What will you actually be doing?
You'll work within a residential aged care facility, supporting older Australians with their daily routines, wellbeing and quality of life.
Your day might include:



Providing personal care and assistance with daily living Supporting residents with mobility and everyday activities Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction Assisting with meals and maintaining a comfortable environment Building positive, respectful relationships with residents Supporting residents to maintain their dignity, independence and choice Working closely with nurses, care staff and the wider care team Following care plans, workplace procedures and safety requirements Residential aged care is about more than providing practical support.
You'll get to know residents, build meaningful relationships and play an key role in their day-to-day lives.

What you'll need Reliable transport to and from the facility Morning Afternoon shift availability (7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm) Willingness to obtain a National Police Check A genuine interest in supporting older Australians Who can apply?
To be eligible for the traineeship, you must: Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident Not already hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher Ready for your next career move?
