We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Acute and Urgent Care department at Rural Northwest Health's Warracknabeal campus on a 12-month fixed-term contract role.
The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of clinical care, and performance monitoring of the acute and urgent care team members.
The successful candidate will have: Relevant post-graduate training or education in aged care, acute medical or emergency nursing Relevant post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, consumer-centered care Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role including, but not limited to, Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements,
