About this role Only About Children Eynesbury We're looking for a confident, caring and organised Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Only About Children Eynesbury.

As a Room Leader, the way you set the rhythm, support your team and build trust with families shapes the experience of every child in your room.
Your leadership helps children feel settled, educators feel confident and families feel connected.
About the role As Room Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day educational, operational and people outcomes within your allocated room.
You'll lead curriculum delivery, child safe practice, team communication and family partnerships,
while supporting educators to build confidence and deliver high-quality care and learning.
What you'll do Lead the daily rhythm of your room, creating calm, consistent routines that help children and educators thrive.
Lead planning, implementation and evaluation of programs aligned with the EYLF and OAC Grow Curriculum.
Guide educators in intentional teaching, documentation, reflective practice and learning analysis.
Maintain child safe supervision, ratios, behaviour guidance and incident management across the room.
Build robust family partnerships and act as the key contact for room-level communication.
Mentor, coach and support educators, including onboarding, feedback and capability building.
Contribute to QIP, audits, meetings, Responsible Person shifts and campus-wide quality outcomes.
What you'll bring Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
Demonstrated experience leading a room or team in an ECEC setting.
Strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, child safety and inclusive practice.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
Strong people leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
Ability to manage room priorities, family communication and quality expectations.
Current Working with Children Check and relevant state-based child protection clearance.
