The Opportunity As a Neurological Physiotherapist , you will manage a diverse caseload and provide individualised rehabilitation based around each client's goals, lifestyle and functional needs.
You will work with people living with neurological conditions, age-related functional decline, mobility difficulties and post-hospital deconditioning.
Your day may include: Completing comprehensive neurological and functional assessments.
Developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation programs.
Providing one-on-one neurological physiotherapy in clients' homes.
Working with clients to improve strength, balance, mobility and transfers.
Supporting recovery following stroke, hospitalisation, injury or surgery.
Prescribing and reviewing mobility and transfer equipment.
Providing appropriate respiratory physiotherapy interventions.




Supporting falls prevention and functional independence.
Educating clients, families, carers and support workers.
Working collaboratively with GPs, specialists, nurses and other allied health professionals.
Tracking outcomes and adapting treatment programs as clients progress.
Your Caseload You may work with clients experiencing conditions such as: Stroke Parkinson's disease Multiple sclerosis Acquired and traumatic brain injuries Spinal cord injuries Cerebral palsy Functional neurological disorders Neuromuscular conditions Movement disorders Ataxia Post-hospital deconditioning Falls and reduced mobility Age-related functional decline What We're Looking For We're looking for a Physiotherapist who combines strong clinical skills with genuine compassion for their clients.
You'll ideally have: A recognised Physiotherapy qualification.
Current AHPRA registration.
Experience in neurological physiotherapy, rehabilitation, aged care or community physiotherapy.
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work autonomously in community settings.
A genuine interest in helping clients achieve meaningful functional goals.
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
New graduates or Physiotherapists transitioning into neurological rehabilitation with a strong interest in the field may also be considered.
