About the Role
As an
In-Home Care Carer
, you will provide individualised care and support that enables clients to continue living safely and independently at home.
Your day may include personal care, meal preparation, household assistance, transport, respite support and accompanying clients to appointments or community activities.
Enjoy part-time, weekday work, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.Limited weekend shifts may occasionally be available.
What You'll Do
Provide respectful and personalised care in accordance with individual care plans
Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming and daily living activities
Assist with meal preparation,



general housekeeping and domestic tasks
Provide transport to appointments, activities and community services
Monitor clients' health and wellbeing and report relevant changes
Maintain accurate documentation and protect client confidentiality
Encourage clients to remain involved in their care and daily activities
Promote each client's dignity, independence, choice and safety
About You
You will bring:
A caring, compassionate and respectful approach
A genuine interest in supporting older people to live independently
The confidence to work independently in clients' homes
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A reliable and flexible approach to service delivery
An understanding of infection control and safe work practices
The ability to recognise and communicate changes in a client's condition
Experience providing high-quality support within aged care, home care or community services
Required Qualifications and Certificates
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or a related qualification is desirable
Current Assist with Medications certificate
Current Queensland Driver Licence
A safe and reliable vehicle
Current vehicle registration and comprehensive insurance
Willing to obtain a National Police Check




Willing to obtain a Pre-employment medical assessment

Up to $15,900 tax-free plus $2,650 for meals and entertainment
Travel reimbursement:
$****** per kilometre for travel during your workday
