About The Role
n
The Accounts Receivable Officer is a member of the Finance Team for the Calvary Aged Care stream operating under a shared service model to provide services across Australia.
n
This role will focus on active debtor management, and the AR Officer will play a key role in providing support to the Finance department as required and will also be responsible for the delivery of excellence, for tasks assigned to manage a portfolio for Accounts Receivable (AR) end-to-end.
n
The Accounts Receivable Officer will deliver a high standard of work, possess a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in a dynamic working environment.
n
Your main duties will include:
n
n
Actively manage debtors, with a focus on the reduction of outstanding debts and including managing account enquires
n
Facilitate the resident data entries into the resident system (Epicor)
n
Process and follow-up fees and Department of Health notifications
n
Facilitate the processing residents' fees and statement issuance on a monthly basis or as required
n
Facilitate the processing of the direct debit billing of resident fees and the receipting of residents fees
n
Facilitate the processing of invoices for sundry charges to residents accountsManagement of bond and RAD registers to comply with prudential requirements
n
Ensure resident system (Epicor) notification to relevant authorities Resident Admission/Discharge
n
Facilitate timely response to department enquiries
n
Process resident events using on line claiming
n
Provide advice and support to stakeholders
n
Process resident events using on line claiming
n
Process and reconcile Medicare funding
n
n
About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience in the administration of Accounts Receivable
n
Sound knowledge of the receivables process
n
Sound knowledge of administration and experience in Microsoft Suite
n
Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
n
Demonstrated high level analytical and account reconciliation skills
n
High attention to detail
n
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks through effective time management
n
Ability to work positively as a member of a team
n

Desirable
n
n
Experience in aged or community and/or health care
n
Experienced in the use of resident management systems (Epicor preferred)
n
