Boilermaker – Heavy Fabrication Permanent Full time | Western Suburbs Melbourne | Day Shift

TRS Resourcing is currently recruiting a Trade Qualified Boilermaker for a permanent full-time opportunity with an established Australian engineering and manufacturing business in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
n
This position will suit an experienced Boilermaker who enjoys heavy fabrication and is confident working with structural, industrial and heavy-gauge steel.
n
This is a direct permanent position with our client, offering long-term job security, consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

The Role
n
n
Heavy fabrication and welding of structural and heavy-gauge steel
n
Setting out and fabrication from engineering drawings
n
MIG welding to a high standard
n
Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling fabricated components
n
Interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
n
Completing work accurately and within production requirements
n
Working independently as well as part of a fabrication team
n

Permanent Full-Time
n
Day Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
n
38-hour standard week
n
Regular overtime opportunities

Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
n
Competitive permanent hourly rate + Super + Overtime

What We're Looking For
n
n




Australian-recognised Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade Qualification
n
Demonstrated heavy fabrication experience
n
Strong MIG welding skills
n
Experience working with structural and heavy-gauge steel
n
Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings
n
Valuable mechanical aptitude
n
Ability to set out fabrication work accurately
n
Ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised when required
n
Full Australian working rights
n
To already be based in Melbourne, Victoria
n
