Join Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) as a Senior Workforce Data Analyst and use your curiosity, technical expertise and customer focus to help shape decisions for a workforce of more than 9,000 people - and make Queensland safer. You'll work alongside customers to understand the questions that matter, co-design reporting solutions that are useful and easy to understand and uncover insights that help leaders act with confidence.

Co-design reporting and business intelligence solutions with customers, starting with their needs - not just the data.

Turn complex workforce information into clear, meaningful insights that support better decisions.

Dig beneath the numbers to understand the "why", identify root causes and solve complex problems.

Spot emerging trends, risks and opportunities across a large, diverse workforce.
n
Build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders, making workforce data easier to understand and use.

Improve data quality, reporting processes and analytics capability so our solutions keep getting better.

What You'll Bring

You'll be someone who:

Is passionate about demystifying data and helping people use it with confidence.
n
Thinks critically, asks thoughtful questions and enjoys finding the root cause.
n
Can translate customer needs into practical dashboards, reports and visualisations.
n
Brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large or complex datasets.
n
Can extract, transform and model data from SQL sources, use DAX to and develop meaningful Power BI solutions; Python experience is an advantage.
n
Communicates complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
n
Values collaboration, continuous improvement and evidence-informed decision making.
n
