Knox One is a Melbourne-based building materials wholesaler supplying the cabinetry, joinery, interior design and construction industries. Our business represents a range of specialised brands across decorative panels, architectural hardware, storage solutions and LED lighting.

Verdecor is one of Knox One's premium brands, specialising in design-led decorative panels and interior surface solutions. Our collection includes woodgrains, solid colours, ultra-matte and gloss finishes, as well as material-inspired surfaces for residential and commercial interiors.

We are now looking for an experienced A&D; Business Development & Specification Manager to help grow Verdecor's presence within Melbourne's architecture and design community.

The Role
n
You will build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers and design practices across Melbourne, introducing Verdecor products and identifying specification opportunities.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Developing current and existing A&D; relationships
n
Conducting regular studio visits and product presentations
n
Supporting designers with product selection and specification
n




Identifying and tracking project opportunities
n
Following specifications through to commercial conversion
n
Maintaining CRM, project pipeline and follow-up activity
n
Representing Verdecor and Knox One at industry events and exhibitions
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone with:
n
n
Experience in A&D; business development, specification or architectural sales
n
Strong relationships within Melbourne's architecture and interior design community
n
Experience in building materials, decorative surfaces, joinery, furniture, flooring, lighting, stone or related products
n
Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
n
Good commercial awareness and follow-up discipline
n
The ability to work independently and manage your own diary and pipeline
n
n
