SALARY - $90,000 to $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience
TYPE – Permanent
LOCATION – Southwest Sydney, NSW
My client is a leading manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment.
They are looking for a Manufacturing Trainer to deliver training across manufacturing and warehousing, and help drive safety standards and continuous improvement across the site.
The Manufacturing Trainer will ideally have the following attributes:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment, ideally with 5+ years' experience
Experience training, coaching or assessing employees within a production setting
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational procedures
Relevant qualifications in Training, Manufacturing, WHS or a related discipline
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be highly desirable
Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, training materials and competency records
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement principles
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes clearly to employees at all levels
Strong organisational and documentation skills
A proactive and practical approach to improving workplace processes and employee capability
The Manufacturing Trainer role will involve:
Delivering practical training to manufacturing and warehouse employees, including new starters and existing team members
Coordinating onboarding, upskilling and cross-training programs across the site
Developing and updating SOPs, work instructions and training resources
Maintaining training records, competency matrices and employee development documentationWorking alongside production teams to identify skills gaps and provide additional training where required
Supporting the introduction of new products, equipment, processes and procedures through effective training
Providing coaching and guidance around Lean, 5S and continuous improvement practices
Supporting Kaizen and other process improvement initiatives across Operations
Identifying inconsistencies in production processes and working with teams to improve standards and performance
Supporting WHS training, compliance activities and the development of a strong safety culture
Working closely with Manufacturing, Warehousing and Operations teams to build employee capability and improve site performance
