Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Quality & Governance Manager to join a well-established aged care provider within their Home Care division.
This is an initial 3-month full-time contract with the potential to extend to 6 months.
Working across two Adelaide locations, you'll partner closely with senior Home Care leaders and provide leadership across quality and continuous improvement.
This is a outstanding opportunity for an experienced aged care quality professional who can step into a senior role, hit the ground running and provide strong clinical governance and compliance leadership.
The Role Reporting to a senior Home Care executive, you will take a lead role across clinical and service quality, governance, compliance, risk and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with Home Care leaders and quality teams to strengthen systems and processes, monitor clinical and operational performance and ensure services continue to meet regulatory and quality requirements.
The position also has leadership responsibility for the Quality & Continuous Improvement team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership and guidance across clinical governance, quality, risk and compliance
Supporting Home Care services with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Overseeing quality improvement initiatives and internal audit activities
Monitoring clinical, quality and risk data and identifying areas for improvement
Supporting preparation for regulatory audits and assessments
Reviewing trends across incidents, complaints, clinical indicators and compliance
Working closely with senior leaders to improve systems, processes and service delivery
Coaching and supporting leaders to embed a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement
About the Candidate
A tertiary clinical qualification with current AHPRA registration - Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional
A minimum of 3 years' quality management experience
Demonstrated Quality, Compliance & Clinical Governance experience within Home Care
Strong understanding of aged care regulations, standards and accreditation
Experience with quality improvement, audits, risk and regulatory compliance
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous senior management experience within Australian aged care would be highly regarded.
Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend to 6 months
