A podiatrist trainee is someone enrolled in an approved Australian university podiatry degree and employed in a health service.
As a Podiatrist Trainee, You Will Gain Hands-on Experience Working Under The Supervision Of An Experienced Podiatrist.
Some Of The Tasks You May Be Asked To Help With Include
diagnosing and treating a wide variety of lower limb conditions
checking blood flow and undertaking assessments to determine the risk of amputation
fitting and adjustments of orthopaedic aids like moonboots or insoles
applying medical padding, strapping and dressings
helping with minor surgical procedures
