About The Role
The SDPR Technical Implementation Officer supports the implementation of Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) infrastructure across Murrumbidgee Local Health District facilities.
This role ensures new technologies are deployed effectively, staff are supported through the transition, and operational continuity is maintained throughout the rollout.
Working across a range of sites, you will coordinate device, data and power audits, liaise with operational managers and contractors to plan and oversee on‐site works, test devices for connectivity and readiness, and provide hands-on support and training to staff during system rollouts.
Key Accountabilities
Coordinate and execute technical implementation activities for the SDPR project, including device, data and power audits, negotiating device placements, and collating inventories to support ordering and installation
Liaise with operational managers to plan contractor works in clinical areas
Oversee contractors to ensure the safety of patients and staff during works
Test in-situ devices for connectivity and execute SDPR-specific test scripts for technical device readiness
Provide on‐site support and troubleshooting during system rollouts
Liaise with project teams, site managers and end-users to ensure a smooth transition
Deliver training and orientation to staff on recent equipment basic operations
Essential Criteria
National Police Check
NSW Working With Childrens Check
Vaccination Category B
Class C Drivers Licence
Selection Criteria
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
Ability to interpret floor plans
Experience cataloguing items, quantities and inventories
Ability to liaise appropriately in facilities which are not your usual working location, with written and verbal communication skills to plan attendance and access to a facility and engage with staff efficiently to undertake work at that location
Prior experience working on projects
Prior experience supervising contractors
Able to perform audit activities within active clinical areas in a safe manner (Emergency departments, operating theatres etc)
