Job Description
Reporting into senior technology leadership, the IT Project Manager will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of technology and business change initiatives.
n
The role will suit a commercially minded Project Manager who enjoys working across multiple projects and can bring structure, accountability and momentum to an evolving project environment.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Manage multiple technology projects simultaneously from initiation through to successful delivery
n
Take end-to-end ownership of project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and outcomes
n
Establish and continually improve project governance, adapting the level of governance to suit the size, complexity and risk of individual projects
n
Develop clear project plans, milestones and reporting frameworks
n
Work closely with senior stakeholders to establish priorities and ensure projects remain aligned with broader business objectives
n
Identify risks, blockers and dependencies early and drive appropriate resolutionLead technology implementations and upgrades across enterprise and operational systems
n
Manage projects involving CRM, business applications, operational platforms and digital transformation
n
Coordinate internal technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners
n
Support process redesign alongside technology implementation
n
Drive change management, stakeholder engagement and user adoption throughout the project lifecycle
n
Ensure projects deliver practical and measurable improvements rather than simply completing technical implementation
n
Provide clear and concise project reporting to senior leadership
n
Contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation's broader project and technology delivery capability
n
The project portfolio includes a combination of enterprise application implementations, system upgrades, operational technology initiatives and wider digital transformation projects.
n

The successful candidate will be an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong track record of taking ownership of complex projects and driving them through to completion.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
Demonstrated experience delivering multiple IT projects concurrently
n
Strong end-to- end project management capability
n
Excellent project governance, planning and reporting skills
n
The ability to introduce structure and governance without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
n
A proactive, delivery-focused approach with the confidence to challenge stakeholders and drive decisions when required
n
Experience managing enterprise application implementations, upgrades or digital transformation initiatives
n
Strong vendor and third-party management experience
n
Experience delivering projects involving significant business process change
n
An understanding of change management, user adoption and organisational readiness
n
The ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced and operationally complex environment
n
n
Experience within transport, logistics, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing or another operationally intensive industry would be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
n
More importantly, you will be someone who can bring people together, create clarity and accountability, and ensure projects actually get delivered.
