Job Description

Partner with operational leaders to deliver people initiatives supporting business performance, workforce capability and project outcomes across the Nifty Project and Surface Mining operations
n
Provide trusted HR and employee relations advice on performance, conduct, investigations, disciplinary matters and terminations
n
Ensure compliance with policy, legislation and industrial frameworks
n
Use workforce insights, HR metrics and HRIS data to identify trends and improve people and operational outcomes
n
Partner with leaders, recruitment and mobilisation teams on talent acquisition, onboarding, mobilisation, retention and workforce planning
n
Lead implementation of Macmahon's people frameworks
n
Champion core values and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture
n

Requirements
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations or a related discipline
n
Demonstrated People (HR) Business Partner experience in mining, contracting or a similar industry
n
Strong knowledge of employee relations, industrial relations and contemporary people practices, ideally within blue-collar or operational workforces
n
Ability to interpret legislation and enterprise agreements
n
Experience using SuccessFactors is not mandatory or will be desirable
n
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to build credibility across leaders,



site teams and corporate functions
n
Regular travel to site as required
n
