The Role
n
The ABC is looking for a proactive Production Coordinator to support the effective operation of Australian Story, a weekly current affairs documentary program. You will be adept at providing high-quality administrative, logistical and production support to tight deadlines, ensuring the program continues to deliver compelling stories and achieve its strategic objectives.

The Job
n

Provide admin and financial support for operations and department goals.
n
Contribute accurate data to monthly and annual budgeting.
n
Improve admin processes for efficiency.
n
Managethe onboarding of contractors, casuals, and new staff.
n
Coordinate admin tasks: risk assessments, fleet, and prepare paperwork for staff moves, EOIs, backfills.
n
Handle financial admin: POs, invoices, line items, pay summaries.
n
Support travel proposals, bookings, and costings.
n
Coordinate crew whiteboarding/crewing with the Production Lead.

About You
n




You'll have:
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience
n
Strong administrative and organisational/logistical skills with accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
n
Solid understanding of financial administrative processes and systems, including SAP Finance
n
Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders at all organisational levels
n
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines accurately
n
Skilled in identifying, defining, and solving operational process and efficiency problems
