The MRDC Bus Driver Provides Secure Bus Transportation For Head Start Children, Assuring That Each Child Is Picked Up And Delivered On Schedule Daily. Bus Drivers

n
Transport assigned children to and from Head Start centers efficiently and safely.
n
Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts or are placed in appropriate (age or weight) car seats and belted in.
n
Ensure that any behavioral issues do not compromise the safety of any child on the bus.
n
Ensure that each child is delivered to the care of a responsible adult (on the authorized list) upon leaving the bus.
n
Ensure that no child is ever left unattended while on the bus, following all procedures put in place to prevent a child being left behind.
n
Visually observe the health of each child on the bus.
n
Collaborate with Site Supervisor and families to design efficient bus routes.
n

Requirements
n
n
Must have, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
n
Must have current CDL with Bus and Passenger endorsements.
n
Must have a clean driving record.
n
Must successfully complete a D.O.T annual physical, and a physical with TB test.
n
Must pass a criminal background check in MD and surrounding states.
n
n
Hourly Rate of Pay: $*****
