An opportunity has presented itself for an Operational Training Specialist to join our team in Greta, NSW.
n
What You'll Do
n
Drive operational capability by planning, coordinating and supporting training and competency programs that ensure our people are equipped to safely and effectively meet operational requirements.
n
Reporting to the Training Manager, you will:
n
n
Develop and manage annual training plans that support operational demands and future workforce requirements.
n
Coordinate trainee programs, training schools and workforce development initiatives.
n
Partner with operational leaders, Driver Trainers and Train Crew Development Specialists to identify capability gaps and training solutions.
n
Monitor, track and maintain employee competencies and training compliance requirements.
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on workforce capability, training effectiveness and operational performance.
n
Coach and support trainers to enhance training delivery and learner outcomes.Ensure training activities align with regulatory, RTO and business requirements.

What You'll Bring
n
n
Experience in training coordination, learning and development, workforce capability or operational training environments.
n
Proven experience developing and implementing training plans and competency frameworks.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple business areas.
n
Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
n
Experience working with Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
n
Knowledge of competency-based training and assessment practices.
n
Experience within rail, transport, logistics, mining or another safety-critical operational environment will be highly regarded.
n
