An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced
Business Manager
to join a well-established education organisation in
Grafton, NSW
.
This is a broad and influential position overseeing the organisation's
finance, business operations, administration, assets, risk, compliance and support functions
.
You'll also lead and develop non-teaching support staff and act as a key business partner to senior leadership.
The role will have a strong financial focus, including
annual budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, expenditure oversight and financial planning
, alongside responsibility for broader operational areas including procurement, capital works, projects, governance and WHS.
We're looking for someone who brings:
A tertiary qualification in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or similar




Robust financial and commercial capability, with experience managing budgets and business operations
Leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage and develop support staff
Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
The confidence to work closely with senior leadership and manage competing priorities
CPA/CA accreditation is highly regarded
, as is previous education-sector experience
