Newly created role | High-growth financial services business | Business Partnering
Commercial Finance Analyst opportunity with a growing and entrepreneurial financial services business with interests across asset management and non-bank lending.
This newly created position sits within the Group Finance team and reports to the Head of Commercial Finance, playing a central role in building out the organisation's commercial finance and FP&A; capability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working across FP&A;, financial modelling, data analytics and business partnering, and wants genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision-making.
The opportunity:
Help build and shape a new group-wide FP&A; and commercial finance function
Work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and CFO on budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business and capital allocation decisions
Deliver insightful performance, variance and cash flow analysis
Build dashboards and management reporting, including Power BI
Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Operations and Technology
Contribute to strategic initiatives including funding, product expansion, M&A; and distribution strategy
Gain exposure across both asset management and non-bank lending
Help leverage new systems,
data and AI-driven approaches to improve finance reporting and productivity
Significant scope to grow the role and broaden your remit as the function develops
About you:
We're looking for a qualified finance skilled with 5+ years' post-qualification experience who brings a strong combination of analytical, commercial and communication skills.
You'll ideally have:
Strong FP&A;, budgeting and forecasting experience
Financial modelling capability and advanced Excel skills
Experience working with large datasets and data analytics / BI tools, ideally Power BI
Experience with Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, TM1 or a similar planning platform
The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capability
A curious, entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in improving how things are done
Financial services experience is advantageous, but not essential
