The Role
Southern Cross DHS is a diverse and welcoming learning community with a strong culture of collaboration, support and staff wellbeing.
We are seeking a motivated, creative and relationship-focused teacher who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and inspiring students to develop a love of learning.
The successful applicant will teach lower secondary students in Years 7 to 9 across Mathematics, English, Science and Humanities (MESH) subjects, as well as practical options.
The role can be tailored to the applicant's strengths, experience and interests, while meeting the needs of the school.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south westteachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South WestEducation Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment,



with a right of return to their substantive position.At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
