Job Description
The Company
You will be joining a mid-tier builder that has been operating in the Australian market for over 60 years.

Position
Reporting to a Construction Manager and Site Manager locally, you will help oversee the completion of the project through to handover.
This is a 2IC role that will suit someone who is able to work collaboratively within a team but still enjoys managing sites independently.
The program has has six months to run, after which the work will be either in the Northern Rivers or North Coast region.
Scopes will typically include heavy refurbishment works to existing premises in live environments,



with some new build elements.
Sites may remain operational throughout the build, so the successful candidate will understand how to operate safely in a live environment and effectively manage site safety.
The Project Management team will be based in Sydney and provide full administration support for the project.
This is a full time role with ongoing work following the completion of this project.
Being a regional builder, projects may sometimes be 1–3 hours from home.
In this event, all accommodation, travel and living expenses will be covered.
Discretionary bonuses are offered for successfully delivered projects.
Salary will be
$155K–$165K package
, which includes a fully maintained UTE.

Background / Experience
Trade background with an additional tertiary building qualification advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to have independently delivered projects in excess of $2M or worked as a Supervisor on projects valued at $5M–$10M+.
Experience working on refurbishment projects within the commercial or education sectors.
Ability to build relationships and manage personnel to operate cohesively within a team environment.
Strong technical, planning and programming skills.
Extensive knowledge of logistical planning in live environments.
Good safety and company systems management skills.
