As our Risk Assurance Analyst based in either NSW or QLD and reporting to the Group Manager Assurance is responsible for supporting Corporate divisions to adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key role in assessing TSEG's compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks, and the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment.
A few of your responsibilities
Support the delivery of risk assurance reviews across business and operational areas to assess compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks.
Perform control testing, process reviews and assurance activities to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify opportunities for improvement
Analyse data, documentation and business information to identify trends, control weaknesses, emerging risks and potential non-compliance issues.
Prepare high-quality workpapers,
findings and reports that clearly communicate assurance outcomes and practical recommendations.
Support the validation of remediation actions and assist in monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented by the business
Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing guidance and support to enhance risk awareness, control effectiveness and compliance outcome
What we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative professional who can deliver quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Experience in risk assurance, compliance, risk management, audit or a related role within a regulated industry.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess information, identify risks and draw evidence-based conclusions
A sound understanding of risk management principles, controls and governance frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
A proactive and curious mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
