Job Description
Facilitate Agile delivery across a portfolio of software teams supporting a large energy company's decarbonisation goals.
n
We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join a leading energy organisation on a 12-month contract, supporting a software team building applications for decarbonisation, including energy balance modelling, cable management, EV charging and load forecasting.
n
The role will establish effective Agile ways of working, facilitate Scrum cadences, support prioritised backlogs, remove blockers, and help cross-functional teams deliver high-quality outcomes to key stakeholders.
n
This is a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week) role based in Perth on a 12-month contract offering hybrid working arrangement (WFH).

About the Role:
n
n
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and establish effective delivery cadences across multiple teams.
n
Coach teams, Product Owners and stakeholders in Scrum and Agile principles, roles and ways of working.
n
Assist with prioritising and maintaining a visible, refined backlog across multiple products, with clear sprint goals and a shared standards.
n
Identify and remove impediments; coordinate resolution of risks, issues and dependencies across teams.
n
Promote transparency by maintaining JIRA boards/dashboards, delivery metrics and explicit progress reporting.
n
Facilitate release planning,
reviews and retrospectives; track continuous improvement actions.
n
Support collaboration across technical and business teams and consistent Agile practice adoption.

About You
n
You're an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding of Agile delivery across multiple teams and products.
n
n
5+ years' experience as a Scrum Master.
n
Proven experience facilitating Scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
n
Experience coaching cross-functional teams and Product Owners in Agile principles and accountabilities.
n
Strong track record establishing delivery cadences, sprint goals and backlog refinement.
n
Experience identifying and removing impediments, managing cross-team dependencies and escalating risks.
n
Comfort working across multiple teams/products with a mix of technical and business stakeholders.
n
Experience using delivery metrics for transparent reporting on flow, progress and predictability.
n
Strong knowledge of Scrum framework, Agile principles, JIRA and Confluence.
n
A recognised Scrum Master / Agile certification (e.g. PSM I, CSM, or equivalent).
n
Experience in the energy or mining sector is beneficial, but not essential.
