About the role
n
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking a Registered Nurse in our Surgical/Medical Ward to join the team in a permanent part time or full-time basis (negotiable). This role will be based in the private ward within Mater Springfield Hospital.

Displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit
n
Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
n
Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
n
Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment,
n
Demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge in the care of surgical patients
n
n
About you
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
12 months postgraduate surgical experience (desirable not essential)
n
Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
n
Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
n
Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
n
Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
n
